James Green
Director / Co Writer
James is an award-winning Director, with a background in TV advertising, commercials and music video.
He’s worked closely with brands such as MTV, Paramount, ITV, Comedy Central and many more.
His work has received various nominations and awards including a nomination at the UKMVAs, Best New Director at Kinsale, various Gold and Silver wins at Promax, as well as accolades from Oscar and BAFTA affiliated festivals including Raindance and LSFF.
He's also been featured positively in various press outlets including Shots, PromoNews, BOOOOOOOM, Kodak, LBB, David Reviews and more.
Proudly hailing from a working class background and with family historical ties to the Mining community; this story and film is one he's deeply passionate about, and one which directly appeals to both his sense of humour and left-wing ideologies.
He’s a keen storyteller and fan of all things weird and comedic; always happiest when creating work with a tactile, analogue or nostalgic aesthetic.
His educational backgrounds in design and music also influence his style; having a keen eye for stylised art direction, an ear for high-energy pacing, and a natural confidence when incorporating design and animation into his work.
Whether it’s big-budget or micro-budget, he’s worked on shoots of all kinds; being able to direct anyone from young upcoming influencers and musicians to established TV talent.
